Project Description
The aim of the project was to renovate and restore the remains of an old timber cutting mill set in the countryside of Hawksworth in Nottinghamshire and convert the building to a new luxurious property with a modern electrical system.
We were given drawings and asked to provide a quotation for installing all of the electrical system to a future proofed specification, concentrating on energy efficiency, lighting and data, and after winning the work we began installing the first cables at the beginning of 2016.
Project Details
The project began in January 2016, was complete in December 2016 and the outcome was a stunning family home with all the latest mod cons of a luxurious new build but with the original character of a dated periodic building.
The electrical work was carried out in stages and bursts over this time period, dates and schedules were agreed and worked out around the other trades in order to keep the project moving forward and ensure that deadlines were kept.
The property was complete and sold in early 2017 and the new owner is over the moon with the electrical installation as a whole, the lighting in particular and the fact that they have hard wired data cables in every room in the property so they do not need to rely on wifi.
