With its digital sensor module, and flow control sensor, Niko Home Control can also prevent flooding from burst pipes by automatically switching off the water supply, warning you in the process. It does this by pumping water from ground source heat to pipes just below the surface, melting the snow or ice. Thermostats can constantly measure the temperature throughout your house and garden so that if and when your front step starts to get a little nippy, it automatically turns on a water pump to heat the step or drive from the bottom up. That’s really useful for those who are little unsteady on their feet!
